Mark your calendars for Summer events

It's going to be a busy summer for our athletes.
Track and Field will be held on Wednesday evenings, beginning May 27 at the Grimsby High School. Coach Kim Bartlett is looking forward to welcoming everyone that night.
There will be a few Meets scheduled, including Pickering on June 13 and the PanAm Meet on June 27.
Golf is our new Summer Sport and it began at the Fore Family Golf Centre on Mountain Rd. on Tuesday, May 12. Coach Richard Roberts is excited about teaching golf skills this season.
Soccer began early this year indoors and the team has already participated in their first Tournament on May 9. Soccer is hosted on Monday evenings at Grimsby High School with Coach George MacDonald. They are also gearing up for the Burlington Hometown Games on Sat. June 20.
Bocce Ball is being considered as a new sport for our club. Let us know if you would be interested.
Annual Banquet - Mark your calendar now for our Annual Banquet on Saturday, September 26 at 4pm.
Volunteer Awards - Congratulations to nine of our long-term volunteers who are being recognized by the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade at an event in Niagara Falls on May 20. They will be presented with their 5 Year award.
Community Council Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28 at  Community Living on South Service Rd. Grimsby. We are in need of a volunteer Secretary to take minutes. Please share with friends and family who may be interested.
Fergie Jenkins Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, June 19 at Rockway Glen in St. Catharines. Thank you to our sponsors, golfers and volunteers for this event that benefits our Club.
